Today sees the launch of our pre-launch activity for Ocean Spray’s new Wholeberry juice across selected Sainsbury’s stores in the UK – driving targeted consumers to try product in store.
Social geo targeting
The in-store sampling activity is supported by location-based digital marketing activity via social. The activity targets our existing current and lookalike audiences via Facebook when they are within 1 mile of a participating store – highlighting the in-store sampling activity and price promotion.
Our wider Ocean Spray audience is also targeted with social pre-launch content, introducing the new Wholeberry products and where they can sample them. This content links to a pre-launch microsite we developed with a postcode look up showing participating stores, alongside highlighting the new product information and benefits.

To complete the experience in store we are asking consumers to share their #Wholeberry experience via social for a chance to win breakfast glassware sets, to complete the Wholeberry experience!
The pre-launch campaign runs from February to May and will support pre launch activities in Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose as the new Wholeberry product rolls out into the stores.
